I changed my major to Convergent Journalism and Public Relations in spring of 2024. I’ve always enjoyed writing, but I fell in love with telling stories. Bringing light to another person’s life fulfilled me in a way I never would’ve expected. It’s not just through writing. I’ve learned to appreciate how much weight a photo can carry; so much so that words are unnecessary. I strive to bring that “weight” into the news I bring to the community. Big or small, I want the news I bring to matter.
